Federal Power Transformers LLC (FPT) is an ISO 9001:2015 Company established in 2006. It is currently registered in UAE with a specific and dedicated facility at ICAD1 - Abu Dhabi, for the manufacture of power transformers and is a unit of Federal Electric.
FPT manufactures a range of power transformers up to 100 MVA, 132kV class along with a comprehensive repair facility offering refurbishment of transformers and overhaul of tap changers. Innovative product development and highly advanced manufacturing system ensures that the products meet the needs of today’s market by combining the latest technology with reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Federal Transformers Company LLC
Federal Transformers Company LLC (FTC) is an ISO 9001:2015 Company established in January 1999 in Abu Dhabi as a manufacturing company. Over the year’s company has built a strong expertise in engineering, design, development and manufacture of high quality transformers catering to the vibrant sector of electric power distribution in UAE and across the region. Its products are designed, manufactured & tested to comply with national and international standards including IEC-60076 / IEC-60076-11 / IEC 61378 / IEC-62271 / ANSI C57 / BS-171/EU Regulations 548 / ENATS Etc. The plant has a dust free climate controlled atmosphere, employing state of the art technology. Transformer designs are developed using fully computerized techniques with expertise engineers and drawings are prepared using high level CAD software. Extensive analysis by an interactive computer program is used to obtain designs which meet the requirements of customer specifications and the relevant standards. FTC has carried out type tests on more than 48 different types of transformers at Independent Laboratories in Europe. FTC has a proven record of supplying over 37,000 Transformers / Package Substations to various utilities in Middle East, Africa, Europe, South East Asia, Australia and South America over a span of 22 years.

Federal Transformers and Switchgears LLC, (Oman)
Federal Transformers and Switchgears LLC (FTS) is an ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certified Omani manufacturing company in Russayl Industrial Area, Muscat. We form part of The Zubair Corporation. The company has a strong expertise in engineering, design, development and manufacturing of high quality power and distribution transformers catering to the vibrant sector of electric power distribution in Oman and across the GCC region. Its products are designed, manufactured & tested complying with national and international standards including IEC-60076/IEC-60076-11/IEC-62271/IEEE C57/BS-171. The plant has a dust free, climate-controlled atmosphere, employing state-of -the-art technology. Transformer designs are developed using fully computerized techniques and (2D and 3D) drawings are prepared by Cad software. Extensive analysis by an iterative computer program is used to obtain designs which meet the relevant standards. FTS has carried out type tests on distribution transformers range at independent laboratories in Europe. FTS now is manufacturing and supplying transformers to all Government sectors, utility companies & oil and Gas companies.

Federal switchgear is part of Federal Electric established in 1999. We are proud partners to the various energy needs of middle east through different sectors. Federal switchgear manufacturing facility is located in Abudhabi, UAE, with state of the art machineries and integrated technical expertise.
Federal Switchgear has the manufacturing capability to make feeder pillars up to 3000 A, main distribution boards, control cabinets with steel or aluminum enclosures. With its continued investment in advanced technology, Innovative product development and a state of the art manufacturing and testing facilities, Federal Switchgear is able to make high quality, safe and reliable products. The products are designed, manufactured and tested to comply with national and international standards including IEC – 61439-1 / IEC 61439-5. The product designs are developed using fully computerized techniques and drawing are prepared on computer using high level CAD software. Extensive analysis by interactive computer program is used to obtain optimum designs which meet the requirements of the customer specifications and relevant standards.
Federal Switchgear has carried out TYPE Test on more than twenty different type of switchgear products at independent laboratories in Europe Its products are designed, manufactured & tested to comply with national and international standards including IEC-60076 / IEC-60076-11 / IEC 61378 / IEC-62271 / ANSI C57 / BS-171/EU Regulations 548 / ENATS Etc. The plant has a dust free climate controlled atmosphere, employing state of the art technology.

Busways are Being manufactured in technical collaboration with Wilmar International INC, USA. Wilmar International has been incorporated in USA by a consortium of highly qualified, skilled professionals who bring in tremendous experience in electrical, electronics and lighting designs to offer energy efficient solutions based on technological evolution for power distribution, lighting, controls and automation needs of infrastructure, industrial, commercial and residential building segments in line with international standards, acquisitions & technical collaborations with companies from various geographies, have helped Wilmar International LLC to provide state of the art technology & products to its customers from different geographies while increasing its resources for development of products and customers. This GLOCALIZATION Approach, aimed at serving local customers promptly with quality products of global repute at affordable prices by manufacturing them locally, has resulted in an initiative to set up state of the art manufacturing facility spread over an area of 55000 Sq. Meters for switchboards and sandwich busways thro’ an associate company - M/s Federal Electric in Abu Dhabi under Federal Electric Brand.
